As an investigative journalist, Lisa courageously dives into some of the darkest areas of society yet throughout her incredible journey in life, she’s encountered many people who are doing their best to help and uplift others as well.
There are many causes close to Lisa’s heart but no matter the foundation or the cause, her service always encompasses Family, Women’s Empowerment, Culture and Generosity.
Lisa serves as an active member of The Salvation Army LA Metro Advisory Board, has been a spokeswoman for Lymphoma research in honor of her mother, a supporter of women’s empowerment, courageously speaking out about her own experiences of sexual harassment during the #MeToo movement, and a scholarship sponsor for the next generation of Latina journalists through various journalism organizations.
Lisa tirelessly uses the platforms she has built to fuel worthy causes at every opportunity.
